COMATEL began its business activity within the Angola telecommunications sector aiming at developing its work in the infrastructures area, inside as well as outside the country.

Still undergoing an early stage, the company’s activity includes mainly projects elaboration, installation and maintenance of telecommunications networks and systems. For the past three years, the company has been developing competences within the area of the electricity – medium and low voltage - being at present one of the main companies operating in Luanda.

The company benefits from the expertise and technology of the Grupo Visabeira, technological leader in these sectors and with a vast knowledge of the Angolan and Southern Africa reality.

The company strongly believes that training Angolan technicians, is essential for the company’s development. It resorts to specialized trainers of the Grupo Visabeira, and within a flexible organization, the company has the ability to adapt itself to the customers needs, as well as to respond to a wide variety of demands: civil construction (ducts, towers, poles, etc.), cables (metal and of optical fiber) installation and connection; installation of telephone devices and equipment; renovation of internal networks; implementation of structured networks; supply and installation of radio link systems, DC and AC electrical energy, shelters, metal towers and poles, electronics for the access networks, solutions for data networks, among other.

The company has around 300 workers, and approximately 90 vehicles.
