COMATEL is involved in several low and medium voltage works for EDEL in different agencies of Luanda.
Although this cooperation is still at an early stage, it is important to highlight some works already developed: network enlargements with the following Substations: Lisboa (Samba), Sta Clara, Clube Nações Unidas, Estores de África, Costa do Sol (Corimba), Rocha Pinto, Bairro Huambo, Cassequel, 21 Janeiro, among other; counters’ assembly all over the country; down lead connections on the following Substations: Costa do Sol, Nações Unidas and Bairro Huambo; and several small enlargement works or fault repairs in Luanda.
The company’s goal for this year is to expand this activity throughout several other parts of the country.
COMATEL has been implementing various public lighting projects for the Provincial Government of Luanda since the beginning of 2006. Besides the fact that this activity is still at an early stage, its portfolio includes already some important works, such as: “Largo das Escolas”, Av. Ndunduma, Bairro Catambor, Bairro Cassenda, Bairro Calemba, Bairro Sagrada Esperança, among other.
It’s important to mention that these are turn key projects, which means, surveying, project design, material acquisition and implementation.
